Mercure Launceston

The dining scene was a delight! I particularly enjoyed the local cakes and sweet treats found in nearby cafes, and the hotel's restaurant, bustling with locals, was a real gem. The staff was attentive and the hotel's location near the city park made for a lovely stroll.

Unfortunately, the only downside was the parking situation. Often, there weren't enough spots available, and I noticed there was no disabled spot, which could be a real hassle for some guests.

The whole room was fashionable with bar fridge, the bedroom, for example. The breakfast selection was savoury and tasty with a coffee house and hot plates available to order-freshly cooked, for instance. Everybody was supper friendly.

Couple looking for comfort

The room was great, the bathroom with walk in shower was a luxury. The beds were comfy and we couldn't hear anything from outside or next door.

It wasn't dirt cheap but still acceptable.

The location is nice and ideal, just a short stroll away from Albert Hall.

It offers GOOD service. The building is historic and the rooms are well-appointed and lovely modern with a great view of park, bedroom and very comfortable bed. Location is magnificent and stunning, close to all events that we wished to attend.

The staff were super friendly, and the room wassuper clean and cozy. The location across from city park made it perfect for evening strolls.

Great location across from City Park, perfect for strolls. My room had air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a coffee machine. The staff were super friendly. Parking was a bit tight, but overall, a cozy stay with nice amenities.

Can just recommend for a weekend break.

Comfortable room, spacious bathroom, with a massive and new double monsoon shower that added to our relaxing stay. The convenient location with free parking made exploring the nearby city park and attractions easy.

It was all perfect.

The stay was disappointing initially due to a delayed flight that made us arrive late to find the restaurant closed. The room was unbearably hot with a malfunctioning air conditioner, and while they offered a desk fan, we would have preferred to switch rooms. The bathroom was slippery and the room lacked the comfort we were looking for, which was frustrating given the price we paid. The location was convenient for walking to local attractions, and we appreciated the quality toiletries provided.

Mercure offers a lovely stay with clean rooms and a great location. the shower was exceptional-one of the best I've experienced in a hotel! I appreciated the scenic bedheads, adding a nice local touch. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the hotel has excellent facilities for business trips, including efficient laundry service.

Only brief stay recommended. Tasmania deserves longer visits.

I really loved how I could easily walk to beautiful parks just across the street and find some great cafes and restaurants within a few minutes' stroll, making my visit feel super enjoyable and connected to the city.

They offer a great selection of delicious food for breakfast.
